Commissioner Daniel “Dan” Glotz

Dan began his career in Warren County Government in 1990 serving as Warren County Zoning Officer. In that position, he was responsible for the administration of the County Zoning Ordinance in 13 of the Count’s 27 municipalities. In the Fall of 1998, Dan was appointed Warren County Planning Director and continued to serve in that position until becoming Warren County Commissioner in 2024. Dan’s duties as Planning Director included the administration of the Warren County Subdivision ordinance and the development of a number of planning documents. Dan was instrumental in the creation of the Warren County Redevelopment Authority and the Warren County Intergovernmental CO-OP (COG).

At the community service level, Dan volunteers his time with Chief Cornplanter Council BSA serving on the Council’s Executive Board, North Warren Troop 13 as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and with Warren County Special Olympics as Games & Competition Coordinator.

Dan is a lifelong Warren County resident. He earned an Associate Degree in Social Sciences at Jamestown Community College and resides in Conewango Township with his wife, Sandy.
