Early Intervention program services children from infancy to the age of 3 in Warren and Forest Counties.

Therapeutic services are focused on the following areas of child development: Cognitive, communication, motor, social-emotional and adaptive.

Referrals for the program come from NICUs, specialists, hospitals, PCPs, parents, family members, private daycares, providers outside the EI program, child care programs, EI providers, social service agencies (CYS, perinatal) Connect, and homeless shelters.

To be eligible for Early Intervention services the child must have a 25% delay in one or more areas of development, have an EI provider’s clinical opinion or a known medical or mental health diagnosis with high probability of developmental delays.

Early Intervention LICC meetings are held quarterly and are open to the public.
